Engineering Officer / Associate Engineer (OIM) - Fibre Network Maintenance

In this pivotal role, you will ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our high-speed fibre network, contributing to the digital transformation in Bali. As part of our Operations and Infrastructure Management team, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and troubleshooting of our extensive fibre network, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Based in Bali, you'll have the opportunity to work in a vibrant and dynamic environment, collaborating with a team of experienced engineers and technicians. This role offers a unique chance to work on cutting-edge infrastructure projects, utilizing tools like Fiber Optic Test Equipment (FOTE), Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR), and Network Management Systems (NMS).

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the fibre network, including splicing, testing, and repairs.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as FOTE and OTDR to identify and resolve network issues.
• Monitor network performance using NMS and other relevant software.
• Coordinate with field technicians and other teams to ensure timely resolution of network problems.
• Document all maintenance activities and network performance metrics.
• Participate in network expansion projects, including fibre installation and configuration.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in fibre network maintenance.
• Provide technical support to internal and external clients as needed.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fibre network maintenance or a similar role.
• Certification in fibre optics or telecommunications is a plus.
• Proficiency in using FOTE, OTDR, and NMS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with Bali's geographical and environmental challenges is a bonus.
